John Scott F.C.A., Cert. PFS.
Following a short period in the cash department of the Prudential Insurance Company in London, John took up Articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971. He worked for various firms in Kent and in 1972 , he became a full equity partner in Scott Vevers.
Over the years, he has gained experience in many matters and he always tries to pass the knowledge gained on to clients. Although it is obviously important to prepare accounts and tax returns accurately & effectively, he believes that it is equally important to fully consider the accounts and tax returns.
For example, if the accounts show poor results, consideration should be given as to whether anything can be done to improve the position. One should always consider whether clients are organising their affairs in the most tax efficient manner, but at all times appreciating clients personal wishes.
